Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Britts Decorative Candles. We create hand-poured decorative candles in small batches with care. Please review our return and refund policy below.

Returns

  • Eligibility: Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unopened, unused items in original packaging. Items that have been burned, used, or show signs of wear cannot be returned.

  • Non-returnable items: Custom or personalized candles, clearance items marked as final sale, and gift cards are not eligible for return.

  • Condition: Returned items must be clean, free of wax residue, and packed securely to prevent damage during transit. Include the original packing slip or order number.

How to Request a Return

  1. Contact customer support within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions.

  3. Ship the item back within 7 days of receiving the RA number. Returns received without an RA may be delayed or refused.

Return Shipping and Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (damaged, defective, or incorrect item).

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance; we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without tracking.

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection within 5 business days.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. The timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

  • Shipping charges (original outbound shipping) are non-refundable except when the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are handled as a return and a new purchase. To exchange an item, return the original following the steps above, then place a new order for the desired item.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • Inspect your order upon receipt. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging and your order number.

  • We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs when applicable.

Missing Items

  • If an item is missing from your shipment, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the issue.

Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placing them. Cancelations after 24 hours may not be possible if your order has already begun processing. Contact customer support immediately to request cancellation.

International Returns

  • International returns follow the same eligibility and condition requirements. Customers are responsible for return shipping, customs, and duties unless the return is due to an error on our part.
