Returns
Eligibility: Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unopened, unused items in original packaging. Items that have been burned, used, or show signs of wear cannot be returned.
Non-returnable items: Custom or personalized candles, clearance items marked as final sale, and gift cards are not eligible for return.
Condition: Returned items must be clean, free of wax residue, and packed securely to prevent damage during transit. Include the original packing slip or order number.
How to Request a Return
Contact customer support within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
We will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions.
Ship the item back within 7 days of receiving the RA number. Returns received without an RA may be delayed or refused.
Return Shipping and Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (damaged, defective, or incorrect item).
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance; we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without tracking.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection within 5 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. The timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
Shipping charges (original outbound shipping) are non-refundable except when the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
Exchanges are handled as a return and a new purchase. To exchange an item, return the original following the steps above, then place a new order for the desired item.
Damaged or Defective Items
Inspect your order upon receipt. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging and your order number.
We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs when applicable.
Missing Items
If an item is missing from your shipment, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the issue.
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placing them. Cancelations after 24 hours may not be possible if your order has already begun processing. Contact customer support immediately to request cancellation.
International Returns
International returns follow the same eligibility and condition requirements. Customers are responsible for return shipping, customs, and duties unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Because our candles are hand-poured in small batches, slight variations in color, scent, and finish are normal and celebrated as part of the artisanal process.
3. Shipping & Orders
Orders are processed within 3-5 business days. Shipping times are estimates and may vary. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors or stock issues.
4. Returns
Due to the nature of our products, we typically do not accept returns. However, if your candle arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the item.

Return & Refund Policy

At Britt’s Decorative Candles, we want you to love your scent experience. Because our candles are personal care and home items, please review our policy below.
1. Returns
Due to the nature of our hand-poured products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges based on personal fragrance preference. We recommend starting with a smaller size if you are trying a new scent for the first time.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
If your candle arrives damaged (e.g., broken glass) or has a manufacturing defect, we will happily replace it or issue a refund.
Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Refunds
Once your damage claim is inspected and approved, we will process your refund. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
4. Shipping Costs

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays.
Most orders ship within 2–5 business days. During peak seasons, processing may take up to 7–10 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order is with the carrier.
2. Shipping Methods & Rates
Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination:
Standard Ground (US): 3–7 business days.
Expedited (US): 2–3 business days.
International: Rates and delivery times vary by destination. Recipient is responsible for all customs duties and taxes.
3. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Please retain all packaging and damaged goods (including the shipping box) as we may require photos to process a claim.
4. Address Changes
We cannot change shipping addresses once an order has shipped. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for additional reshipment charges.
