Welcome to Britt’s Decorative Candles. These terms govern your use of our website and the purchase of our hand-poured products.

1. Product Safety & Liability

CANDLE SAFETY WARNING: Always burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Britt’s Decorative Candles is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from improper use.

2. Handmade Nature

Because our candles are hand-poured in small batches, slight variations in color, scent, and finish are normal and celebrated as part of the artisanal process.

3. Shipping & Orders

Orders are processed within 3-5 business days. Shipping times are estimates and may vary. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors or stock issues.

4. Returns

Due to the nature of our products, we typically do not accept returns. However, if your candle arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the item.

Return & Refund Policy

At Britt’s Decorative Candles, we want you to love your scent experience. Because our candles are personal care and home items, please review our policy below.

1. Returns

Due to the nature of our hand-poured products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges based on personal fragrance preference. We recommend starting with a smaller size if you are trying a new scent for the first time.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

If your candle arrives damaged (e.g., broken glass) or has a manufacturing defect, we will happily replace it or issue a refund.

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Email a photo of the damaged item and the shipping box to Coconutcandles23@yahoo.com.

3. Refunds

Once your damage claim is inspected and approved, we will process your refund. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.

4. Shipping Costs

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If a replacement is issued for a damaged item, we will cover the shipping cost of the replacement.

Shipping Policy

Effective Date: April 6, 2026

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays.
  • Most orders ship within 2–5 business days. During peak seasons, processing may take up to 7–10 business days.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order is with the carrier.

2. Shipping Methods & Rates

Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination:

  • Standard Ground (US): 3–7 business days.
  • Expedited (US): 2–3 business days.
  • International: Rates and delivery times vary by destination. Recipient is responsible for all customs duties and taxes.

3. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Please retain all packaging and damaged goods (including the shipping box) as we may require photos to process a claim.

4. Address Changes

We cannot change shipping addresses once an order has shipped. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for additional reshipment charges.
